Mixu Is Mixu Free?
Mixu free
Free to start, with further rewards, such as free matches, for people who come back. Coins cover the rest. No card is needed to try it, and nothing is charged without you choosing a pack.
Is Mixu free?
Yes at the start. Anyone new gets free matches, and the Reward Center, the bar above the match page, hands out a further reward such as free matches several times a day. Past that, matches and gifts use coins.
On arrival
Your first matches on Mixu cost nothing. You open mixu.cam, a guest session begins, and you can tap start and talk to someone without paying or entering a card. Nothing has to be bought to find out what the site is like.
The claim you will not hear from us is that it all stays free without limits. It does not. Mixu is free to start, and heavier use needs coins. Better to read that now than to learn it halfway through a great conversation.
Reward Center
You claim them from the bar at the top of the match page. That bar is the Reward Center. It hands out a reward, such as free matches, over and over as the day goes on, so the welcome ones are not the end of the free part.
Tap start. The Reward Center sits at the top of that screen, above the matching area.
It says either that your reward is ready, with a Claim button, or how long until the next one.
The reward is added to your session and the bar switches to a countdown for the next one.
When the countdown ends, the bar is ready again. This can happen several times a day.
Before buying anything, look at the top of the match page. There may be a reward waiting to be claimed.
The countdown
The countdown starts from the moment you claim, and it keeps running whether or not you stay on the site. Close the tab, lock the phone, come back in the evening: the bar shows the time that is really left, or tells you a reward is ready.
No streak exists for you to keep alive. Missing a day does not reset anything or send you back to the start. You simply claim the next reward whenever you return, and the timer for the one after begins then.
We do not print how many matches a reward holds or how long each wait is. Both are server-side settings that get tuned now and then, so any number printed on this page might be out of date within weeks. The Reward Center itself always shows the current state, and tapping the bar during a countdown shows what is coming next.
Coins
Coins matter in two cases: the free matches have run out and you would rather carry on at once than wait, or you decide to send a gift. Until then you do not need any.
Coins are what Mixu uses for money. You buy them as packs, and each pack states its price on screen ahead of the confirm step. Gifts show their price in the gift panel before you send one. There is no way to turn coins back into cash or pass them to a different account; the terms of service set out every rule.
If you reach the end of your free matches and do not want to buy, you have a second option: wait. The Reward Center countdown is still running, and the next claim adds another reward, such as free matches.
Without paying
Far enough to know whether you like it. A guest who never buys a pack can still arrive, use the welcome matches, collect further ones at the Reward Center several times daily, look through Who's online, open profiles and follow people.

Common mix-ups
Mostly they expect one of two extremes, and the truth sits between them. Here are the mix-ups we hear most.
"Free means there is no ceiling." There is one. The free part is real and it renews through the day, but there is a ceiling at any given moment.
"You need a card to try it." You do not. Payment details are only asked for when you decide to buy a coin pack.
"If I skip a day I lose my rewards." You do not. The countdown has no streak. It picks up wherever you left it.
"The Reward Center is a one-time welcome gift." It is not. It keeps a timer and becomes claimable again after each wait.
"Someone on a call can send me coins or unlock rewards for me." They cannot. Rewards come from the bar on the match page and coins from the payment screen on mixu.cam, nowhere else. Offers that say otherwise are covered in the safety tips.
What a call actually includes, free or paid, is on the Mixu chat page.
