Terms of Service

01 Eligibility

The minimum age is 18, or older if your local law sets adulthood later, and using a video chat service has to be lawful for you where you live. Each person gets a single account. Accounts opened for someone else, or by automated tools, can be removed.

02 The service in one paragraph

Mixu pairs two people for a one to one conversation by video, voice or text. You can be matched at random or call someone shown as online, and you can follow and message people from their profiles. The site runs in a web browser. It is offered as it stands: we work to keep it available and pleasant, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, and we do not guarantee any particular match or outcome.

03 Guest sessions and sign-in

You can use Mixu as a guest; a session is created when you open the site and stays with that browser. Attaching a sign-in is optional and lets you reach the same follows and balance from another device. Keeping that sign-in method secure is your job, and so is whatever takes place in your session.

04 Free calls, rewards and coins

• Anyone arriving for the first time is given a number of free matches. People who stay active can collect more from the reward center shown on the match screen; we decide how much is given and how often, and either may be revised.
• After the free allowance, coins (sold in packs) pay for calls and gifts.
• Coins are not money: no cash-out, no transfers between accounts, no exchange.
• The price of a pack is displayed ahead of payment. Refunds are governed by the terms of whichever payment method you used and by applicable consumer law; contact support if a purchase went wrong.

05 Conduct that is not allowed

• Nudity or sexual activity on camera, or asking others for it.
• Bullying, hate speech, threats or harassment of any kind.
• Anything involving minors. Cases of this kind are referred to the authorities.
• Capturing, screenshotting or redistributing another person without their consent.
• Scams, requests for money, phishing links or advertising other services.
• Impersonating another person or the Mixu team.
• Attempts to break, scrape or overload the site.

06 Enforcement

Reports are reviewed against these terms and the community guidelines. Depending on what is found, we may warn you, limit features, suspend the account or close it for good, with coin balances forfeited in serious cases. If you think a decision was mistaken, you may ask for a second look through the contact page.

07 Other people

We do not run background checks. Whoever you get matched with is a stranger, responsible for their own words. Use judgement, keep private details private, and read our safety tips.

08 Changes

As the product changes, so may this text. Check the date above to see which version you are reading. Carrying on with Mixu after an updated version goes up counts as accepting it.
